The B-STAT center is pleased to offer you its micro-certifications, designed to help you master the fundamentals of statistics and perfect your analytical skills.
To date, 2 micro-certifications covering descriptive statistics are available. They are described below.
The theoretical aspects of descriptive statistics
This micro-certificationl introduces the definitions of population, sample, variable and data types. These definitions form the basis for the introduction of position and dispersion parameters. The course also covers the notion of association between two variables and the various associated graphical representations.

Critical reading and communication of descriptive statistics in scientific literature
Using examples from the scientific literature: learn to read and interpret descriptive statistics results critically, assessing the validity, reliability and relevance of the results. Micro-certification also covers the most appropriate way of communicating such results.
