The basics of R programming using RStudio

The University Hospital Center for Biostatistics and Research Methods (B-STAT) is pleased to announce the organization of a training course 100% distance learning devoted to the basics of R programming using RStudio which will take place from March 1, 2027 to March 26, 2027.
This training, presented in the form of video clips, will alternate between theoretical presentations and software manipulation through exercises. All of this material will be available online via eCampus. You will be able to follow this training at your own your own pace for a maximum of 4 weeks. You will also be able to exchange ideas via the discussion forum.
At the end of these trainings, you will be
- Familiar with the concept of loops, of conditional statements and of user-defined functions.
- Able to apply 'for' loop, 'while' loop and 'if else' conditional statements on a database.
- Able to write your own R function and apply them on a database.

Public: ULiège members, CHULiège, ELIPSE and external members who wish to program with R/RStudio software
Pre-requisites: Basic statistical knowledge desirable and be able to use RStudio (importing and manipulating databases, descriptive statistics, performing basic statistical tests)

The number of registrations is limited to 25 participants + 10 places available free of charge for doctoral students from the ULiège doctoral school of health scienceson a "1st come,1st served" basis .
