If you wish to hire our services, we invite you to contact Nathalie Maes with a brief description of your project and the associated deadlines. We will come back to you as soon as possible.

To help researchers in the creation of an optimal database, we developed an online course (available in French). Other methodological supports are also provided on MAEL plateform from CHU of Liège.

B-STAT Center provides methodological and statistical support for Master's theses and PhD theses, subject to approval by the promotor.

Our services are billed on a time basis (hourly or daily rate). An estimate can be provided at request.

Guidelines

Our consultance service works according to the ISI (International Statistical Institut) Declaration on Professional Ethics and the Ethical Guidelines edited by the ASA (American Statistical Association).

In particular, guidelines commit us to work with professional integrity and accountability. In particular, we are really sensitive to the respect of GDPR.

By working with us, researchers agree to the guidelines.

Authors and Contributors

The International Commitee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommends that the authorship of a consultant be based on the following four criteria:

  1. Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work.
  2. Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content.
  3. Final approval of the version to be published.
  4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

Those who do not meet all four criteria should be acknowledged.

NB: The exact affiliation of our center is « Biostatistics and Research Methods Center (B-STAT) ».
